Frog Flower School

Quintessence logo

In 2026 I studied contemporary floristry at Frog Flower School in Manchester. Coming from horticulture, it was a chance to look at flowers the other way round: less about how a plant grows, more about what a single stem can do in a room.

Composition, colour, form and plenty of experimenting, from table styling and flower crowns to full installations. The same pull between structure and freedom that shapes my gardens turned up in the flowers too.
