FREELANCE FLORIST
Freelance florist, an extra pair of hands.
I freelance for florists and creative studios across Manchester, the North West and Derbyshire: install days, event builds, wedding prep and on-the-day crews. RHS-trained in horticulture, trained in contemporary floristry at Frog Flower School, and happy up a ladder at 7am.

What I can do
Your design, built with care.

INSTALLATIONS
Installs and builds
Trees, arches, hanging pieces and whole rooms, built to your design and taken down after.

WEDDINGS
Wedding prep
Bud vases, buttonholes, table arrangements and the hundred small things a big day needs.

EVENTS
Event days
Set-up, refreshes and strike for launches, dinners and brand events.
How it works
STEP 1
Send the brief
Dates, location, the job and how many hands you need.
STEP 2
Dates and a rate
I confirm availability and send a day or half-day rate.
STEP 3
I turn up ready
With my own tools, on time, and briefed on your design.
STEP 4
Built and cleared
Built to your standard and tidied away. Photos shared only with your say-so.
Based in Glossop, half an hour from Manchester Piccadilly.
RECENT FREELANCE WORK
With Frog Flowers.
Halloween at Haddon Hall: a lantern tree, an enchanted forest and a cabinet of curiosities for Haddon Hall’s Little School of Sorcery, with David Jayet-Laraffe as creative director. And the bud vases for a Frog wedding.
Frog Flowers designed both. I helped build and make them.

Good to know.
Where do you work?
From Glossop across Manchester, the North West, Derbyshire and the Peak District. Further for the right job.
What do you charge?
A day or half-day rate, agreed before the job. Ask and I’ll send it.
Do you work to someone else’s design?
Yes, that’s the job. Your design, your standards, your way of doing things.
Early starts and late strikes?
Yes. Weddings and installs rarely keep office hours.
Do you take on your own clients too?
Yes. Wedding flowers, events and installations, and garden design.
Will you post our work?
Only with your say-so, and always with the studio credited. Your work stays yours.
